The Key To Results That Last…

…is actually enjoying what you’re doing to get those results.

Your results are a product of the life you live. Crazy… I know 🤯

Hard truth… if you don’t like what your life looks like in the process of achieving the results you think you want, then the results probably won’t be as satisfying as you think.

If your goal is to be extremely lean, that might sound really cool in theory, but do you enjoy the process of getting there? Do you enjoy packing all your meals everywhere you go, saying no to date nights or pizza with your kids, and prioritizing fitness over everything else?

If you do, that’s great and being super lean may be the result that makes you the happiest. But for the large majority of us, those aforementioned sacrifices (and many others) aren’t all that enjoyable. And even if we white knuckled our way through and got to that “dream physique” we’d likely be pretty miserable in the process.

And spoiler alert… if you’re miserable the entire time trying to achieve something, you’re not magically going to find happiness when you get there. Because now in order to maintain those results, you have to maintain that lifestyle. And if the lifestyle is making you miserable, I can promise you that the outcome won’t be euphoric.

The magic answer to achieving results that you can sustain is to genuinely enjoy the process that you’re taking to get there. Because if you’re loving the life that you’re building in pursuit of those goals, that means you can (and want to) keep doing them even after you’ve reached the metaphorical finish line.

And when it comes to your health, there really isn’t a finish line. Health is a lifestyle; if you want to feel your best forever then you have to take care of yourself forever. Yes you might reach the goal weight or body fat percentage or desired physique, but you don’t just stop all of your habits once you’ve gotten there.

And that’s what I do at Moxie Barbell; help you discover the systems that work for your life and that you actually enjoy so that you can change your life… not just for 12 weeks, but for forever 💜
